Baseball Recap: Capital Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lincoln on Friday, Capital came back down to earth. The Cougars fell just short of the Olympia Bears by a score of 5-4 on Saturday. The Cougars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bears from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Capital's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-4. As for Olympia, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Capital will square off against Bellarmine Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Olympia, they will face off against Rogers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
