Football Recap: Miami Beach Takes a Loss

If Miami Beach was feeling good fresh off their 24-0 takedown of Sunset last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Miami Beach Hi-Tides took an 18-2 bruising from the Coral Gables Cavaliers on Monday.

Miami Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Coral Gables, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Miami Beach will face off against Coral Park at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Coral Gables will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against North Miami Beach at 4:00 p.m. on April 1st.
