Volleyball Recap: Ridgevue Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Ridgevue lost against Owyhee back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warhawks came up short against the Storm, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-13, 25-11.

Cora Taylor paced Ridgevue's offense, picking up six kills. Taylor got some help from Talace Miller and her 17 assists. Clara Gurney controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Among those leading the charge was Bella Hordemann, who had 12 digs and ten assists. Those ten assists gave her a new career-high.

Ridgevue has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Owyhee, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

Ridgevue has already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Centennial on the 11th. As for Owyhee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Meridian on the 11th.
