It was a good run, but Chisago Lakes Area unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the North Branch Vikings. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wildcats have suffered since September 23rd.

While Chisago Lakes Area was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into North Branch's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-19, 25-22.

Mariah Cave paced Chisago Lakes Area's offense, picking up nine kills. Cave got some help from Kianna Osmundson and her 17 assists. Kate Friedner controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Chisago Lakes Area's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for North Branch, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-9.

As of now, neither Chisago Lakes Area nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
