Meanwhile, Academic Magnet was beaten by Burke 78-50 on Monday. The Raptors haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Philip Simmons pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.3 points per game. As for Academic Magnet, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-18.
