Football Recap: Lincoln Christian Starts Season with Win Against Victory Christian

Lincoln Christian took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They claimed a resounding 63-0 win over the Victory Christian Conquerors. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Bulldogs' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Conquerors are ranked 58th).

Lincoln Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Caleb Peterson and Max Madrid. Peterson got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Lincoln Christian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 35-6 victory against Heritage Hall on the 5th. As for Victory Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 29-26 win against McLain Science & Tech on the 5th.
