Basketball Recap: Phoenix Takes a Loss

Phoenix lost against Yreka back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Phoenix Pirates lost 52-29 to the Yreka Miners. The loss was the Pirates' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Phoenix fell to 2-1. As for Yreka, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Phoenix will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against North Bend at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Yreka, they will be taking part in a tournament against Marysville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
