While Bulloch Academy's victory against Robert Toombs Christian Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Gators had just enough and edged out the Crusaders 38-36. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Gators have posted since August 17, 2024.

Bulloch Academy was led to victory by Sam Hubbard and Danye Garvin. Hubbard rushed for 103 yards and three TDs on only 14 carries, while Garvin rushed for 117 yards and a pair of scores.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Bulloch Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 297 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Robert Toombs Christian Academy only rushed for 52 rushing yards.

Despite the defeat, Robert Toombs Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Drew Edwards rushed for 52 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 247 yards and a pair of TDs. Edwards also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making ten total tackles and defending one pass. A healthy portion of Edwards' aerial production (93 yards to be exact) went to Brittan Tabor.

Bulloch Academy's record now sits at 3-0. As for Robert Toombs Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
