Baseball Recap: Duluth East Comes Up Short

Duluth East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 8-2 to the Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets. That's two games in a row now that the Greyhounds have lost by exactly six runs.

Duluth East's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Cambridge-Isanti, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Duluth East wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 8-4 win against Denfeld on the 14th. As for Cambridge-Isanti, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-0 defeat against St. Francis on the 15th.
