 It was a good run, but  Westview unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-game winning streak on Friday. They lost  11-5 to the Jimtown Jimmies. Westview has not had much luck with Jimtown recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
  Briana Kaufman was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 2-for-4 with a  triple and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Kyiah Michels, who  scored a  run while going 3-for-4.
 On Jimtown's side,  Layla Winrott made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  tossed seven innings while giving up  three earned  (and two unearned) runs off   ten  hits. Winrott was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with two  runs, a  triple,  and two  RBI.
 In other batting news, Jimtown got a  massive  performance out of  Skyler Pello, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4.  Kendal McPhee was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
 Westview now  has a losing record at 5-6. As for Jimtown,  the  win  made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 11-6.
 The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: they beat Westview by a score of  15-6 later that day.
