Basketball Recap: Osage Comes Up Short

If Osage was riding high fresh off their 65-22 takedown of Northwood-Kensett last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Osage Green Devils were dealt a 61-33 loss at the hands of the West Fork Warhawks on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Green Devils in their matchups with the Warhawks: they've now lost three in a row.

Osage now has a losing record of 9-10. As for West Fork, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

Osage wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 46-45 loss against Iowa Falls-Alden on the 15th. As for West Fork, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 55-34 win against Central Springs on the 11th.
