Terre Haute North Vigo has gone a perfect 4-0 against Greencastle recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Patriots will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tiger Cubs at 5:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Terre Haute North Vigo has three straight victories, Greencastle has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Kyleigh Walker made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off 11 hits. Walker was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted over her last 14 games.
In other batting news, Rayven Wilson and Kara Salmon did most of the damage at the plate: Wilson went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run, while Salmon went 2-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two doubles gave Wilson a new career-high. Madi Strange was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Terre Haute North Vigo kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in eight consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Greencastle lost 11-3 to South Putnam on Saturday.

Greencastle's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Terre Haute North Vigo has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .466. It's a different story for Greencastle, though, as they've only averaged .317. Will they be able to contain Terre Haute North Vigo's hitters?
