Football Game Preview: Lawrenceville Indians vs. Marshall Lions

The Lawrenceville Indians will head out to challenge the Marshall Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lawrenceville is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Things were looking good for Lawrenceville after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They came up short against Robinson, falling 39-19. The game was a close 13-10 at the break, but unfortunately for the Indians it sure didn't stay that way.

Meanwhile, Marshall ended up a good deal behind Casey-Westfield on Friday and lost 50-34. The Lions have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Lawrenceville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Lawrenceville suffered a grim 33-10 defeat to Marshall in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Lions' Lucca Giannavola, who rushed for 192 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry.
