King's Academy scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 50-39 to the Lee Academy Cavaliers. The Lions' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it eight in a row.

Mazie Tomlinson was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 14 rebounds for Lee Academy. Tomlinson is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least nine every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Karagan Melton, who posted 15 points and six rebounds.

King's Academy's record now sits at 1-10. As for Lee Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
