There's no place like home for New Holstein, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Cedar Grove-Belgium Rockets on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Huskies, who have now won eight matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

Makya Pendleton was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Pendleton was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Mady Sippel was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those two hits gave her a new career-high. Jenna Horn was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

New Holstein pushed their record up to 15-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Cedar Grove-Belgium, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Looking ahead, New Holstein will face off against Brillion at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Huskies' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Cedar Grove-Belgium does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
