While Freeport's victory against Hicksville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Red Devils narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Comets 53-50. The victory continues a trend for the Red Devils in their matchups with the Comets: they've now won five in a row.

Jaiden Daniels was the offensive standout of the game as he posted 15 points. Tyrel Williams was another key player, putting up 11 points and five rebounds.
