Basketball Recap: Memorial Comes Up Short

After a string of three wins, Memorial's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They lost 65-45 to the NV - Old Tappan Golden Knights. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Golden Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for NV - Old Tappan, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Memorial will face off against Hudson Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for NV - Old Tappan, they will be playing at home against Tenafly at 7:00 p.m. on January 7th. NV - Old Tappan knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Tenafly likes a good challenge.
