Scott County had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 7-3 win over the Madison Central Indians on Wednesday. The victory was nothing new for the Cardinals as they're now sitting on five straight.

Scott County's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-5. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Madison Central, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 21-6.

As of now, neither Scott County nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
