Basketball Game Preview: Camarillo Scorpions vs. Oak Park Eagles

The Camarillo Scorpions will venture away from home to take on the Oak Park Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Camarillo's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups.

Camarillo will bounce into Monday's contest after beating Simi Valley, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Camarillo was the clear victor by a 62-38 margin over Simi Valley on Friday. The Scorpions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 games by 24 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Oak Park entered their tilt with Hillcrest Christian on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Saints by a score of 60-52.

Oak Park is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-16 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.4 points per game. As for Camarillo, they pushed their record up to 25-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Camarillo strolled past Oak Park in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a score of 49-35. The rematch might be a little tougher for Camarillo since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
