Soccer Recap: Strasburg Comes Up Short

Strasburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 5-0 to the Stonewall Jackson Generals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Stonewall Jackson this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on April 3rd.

Strasburg's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Stonewall Jackson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Strasburg will square off against rival Clarke County at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Stonewall Jackson is set to challenge their familiar foe Luray at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
