Basketball Recap: Javeon Anderson Key Part of Team Effort in Lancers Win

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but L'Anse Creuse ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lakeview Huskies, sneaking past 60-58. This was payback for the Lancers, who suffered a 72-66 loss the last time these two teams met.

L'Anse Creuse got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Javeon Anderson out in front who went 7-for-12 en route to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Kurtz, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten boards.

L'Anse Creuse smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in January of 2024.
