After a string of four wins, St. Paul Central's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They came up short against the Edison Tommies, falling 9-2. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Minutemen couldn't push the score so high this time.

St. Paul Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emmett Jones, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

St. Paul Central's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Edison, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-8 record this season.

St. Paul Central will face off against Simley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Edison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
