Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Manila walked away with it. In a tight match that could have gone either way, they made off with a 43-42 win over the Salem Greyhounds. The victory was nothing new for the Lions as they're now sitting on 15 straight.

Manila's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.9 points. As for Salem, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-9 record this season.
