Basketball Recap: Mundy's Mill Takes a Loss

Mundy's Mill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 42-40 heartbreaker at the hands of the Northside Patriots. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 38-30 back in January.

Mundy's Mill now has a losing record at 12-13. As for Northside, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-10.

Mundy's Mill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northside, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Starr's Mill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Starr's Mill will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Northside surely won't give up without a fight.
