Wooster proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past the Perry Panthers 3-2. The Generals haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Wooster took Perry into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-16, 27-29, 21-25, 15-11.

Wooster was led to victory by Baylie Hahn and Anaca Holcombe. Hahn had 17 digs and one assist, while Holcombe had six digs and two aces. Those two aces gave Holcombe a new career-high. Brooke Lamb also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Wooster's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Perry, their loss ended a seven-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-8.

Looking ahead, Wooster is taking a road trip to face off against West Holmes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Perry, they will be playing at home against Hoover at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
