Basketball Recap: Cassville Takes a Loss

Cassville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 63-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ithaca Bulldogs. If the Comets were looking for revenge after losing 61-50 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cassville's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Ithaca, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Ithaca beat Cassville by a score of 63-53 on Tuesday.
