Basketball Recap: Tri-Valley Starts Season with Win at Home

Tri-Valley took care of business in their home opener on Monday. They came out on top against the Momence Momence Athletics by a score of 73-60.

When it comes to explaining why Momence lost, don't look at D'Angelo Hundley. Despite the final result, he went 7-for-13 en route to 18 points. Hundley is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Aiden Smith, who shot 60% from the field to rack up 14 points.

Tri-Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 72-29 victory against Dwight on the 25th. As for Momence, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 68-28 win against Grant Park on the 25th.
