Stonington faced Ledyard in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Bears fell just short of the Colonels by a score of 2-1. Stonington were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Ledyard earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Stonington's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3-1. As for Ledyard, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-4-1.

As of now, neither Stonington nor the Colonels have any future games scheduled.
