Recap: Noblesville Millers vs. Fort Wayne Snider Panthers

With a playoff game on the line, the Noblesville Millers rose to the challenge on Saturday. They had just enough and edged the Panthers out 43-40. Winning may never get old, but Noblesville sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Meredith Tippner continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. She hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Reagan Wilson, who scored nine points along with two steals.

Fort Wayne Snider's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tia Phinezy, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. Jordyn Poole was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with three steals.

Noblesville is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. As for Fort Wayne Snider, their loss dropped their record down to 22-3.

Noblesville's road trip will continue as they head out to face Valparaiso at 12:00 p.m. on February 17th. Hopefully Valparaiso focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Saturday. Fort Wayne Snider does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
