Plaza Heights Christian Academy had won nine straight home games dating back to last season and Luke Jones did his part to make it ten on Monday. The Lions simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Applewood Christian 58-30 for which the team can thank Jones, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 12 boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed four or more in each of the last four games he's played dating back to last season.

Plaza Heights Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Applewood Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Plaza Heights Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Midway at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
