Basketball Recap: Perkins Comes Up Short

Perkins lost against Columbian last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Perkins Pirates took a 57-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Columbian Tornadoes.

Perkins has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season. As for Columbian, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

Perkins and Columbian could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Perkins will face off against Sandusky at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday down 147 places (241 vs. 94). Meanwhile, Columbian (ranked 392nd) will meet Bellevue (ranked 193rd) at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
