Basketball Recap: Bloomington Comes Up Short

Bloomington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a blow against the Weimar Wildcats, falling 70-16. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats/Lady Cats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 76-8 back in December of 2024.

Bloomington's defeat dropped their record down to 3-24. As for Weimar, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-10.

Bloomington will face off against Ganado at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Weimar has already played their next match (against Shiner), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
