Softball Preview: Waubonsie Valley Warriors vs. Metea Valley Mustangs
The Waubonsie Valley Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Metea Valley Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Waubonsie Valley and seven for Metea Valley.
On Friday, Waubonsie Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Plainfield Central and fell 2-1.
Sammy Wiertelak put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched.
