Volleyball Recap: Thorp Comes Up Short

Thorp was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to Eleva-Strum. Thorp was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Eleva-Strum apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-13.

Thorp's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Eleva-Strum, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.

Thorp will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Regis at 7:00 p.m. on the 30th. As for Eleva-Strum, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Osseo-Fairchild on the 20th.
