Softball Recap: Mayde Creek Comes Up Short

Mayde Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 11-1 to the Jordan Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-4 back in February.

Mayde Creek saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shy'Lynn Brown, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Mayde Creek's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Jordan, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Mayde Creek is set to square off against their familiar foe Paetow at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Jordan will face off against rival Morton Ranch at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
