Softball Recap: Marengo Comes Up Short

Marengo and Choctaw County squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Marengo had to settle for second. They lost 10-3 to the Tigers. The Panthers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

Marengo's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Choctaw County, they moved to 5-14 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Marengo wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 16-1 loss against Southern Choctaw on the 28th. As for Choctaw County, they have also already played their next matchup, a 19-1 defeat against Sweet Water on the 28th.
