Baseball Recap: Western Hills Takes a Loss

Western Hills lost against Southwest back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cougars fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 3-2. The Cougars just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Western Hills saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Johnston, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Western Hills' loss dropped their record down to 3-18-1. As for Southwest, they moved to 9-17 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Raiders beat Western Hills by a score of 10-4 on Friday.
