Volleyball Recap: Logan Grizzlies vs. Ridgeline Riverhawks

If Logan was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Mountain Crest last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Grizzlies lost 3-0 to the Ridgeline Riverhawks on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Riverhawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

While Logan was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Ridgeline's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-15, 25-16.

Logan's offense was headlined by Zack Merrill and Aidan Kent, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Josh Merrill and his 12 assists.

Ridgeline's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jentzen Budge, who had nine digs and five aces. What's more, Budge posted two kills, the most he's had since back in March.
