It was a good run, but Shenandoah unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-match winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Union Local Jets by a score of 3-2. The Zeps were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Jets earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Shenandoah started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 19-25, 25-21, 25-21, 15-8.

Brenna Leach paced Shenandoah's offense, picking up 27 kills. Leach got some help from Alyssa Crum and her 28 assists. Crum was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 17-2. As for Union Local, they pushed their record up to 15-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Shenandoah has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Warren on the 30th. As for Union Local, they will host Caldwell at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
