Softball Recap: DuBois Central Catholic Comes Up Short

DuBois Central Catholic lost against Brockway on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cardinals fell just short of the Rovers by a score of 2-1. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marina Hanes made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

DuBois Central Catholic now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Brockway, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. DuBois Central Catholic will welcome Cranberry Area at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brockway, they will take on East Forest/West Forest at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rovers are facing the Fires at the right time seeing as the Fires are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
