Basketball Recap: Riverdale Academy Find Success

Riverdale Academy saw some tournament action on Saturday. They secured a 56-50 W over the Calhoun Academy Cougars.

Riverdale Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Calhoun Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverdale Academy will take on River Oaks in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Calhoun Academy and Lee Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Calhoun Academy is facing Lee Academy at the right time seeing as Lee Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
