Baseball Game Preview: Great Falls Bison vs. Skyview Falcons

The Great Falls Bison will head out to take on the Skyview Falcons at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Great Falls has given up an average of 11.1 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Great Falls is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Montana's top teams: Flathead, who was ranked 13th at the time (Great Falls was ranked 14th). The Bison lost 15-5 to the Braves on Saturday. The Bison have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ledger Tuckerman made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Skyview). Everything went their way against Shepherd on Saturday as they made off with a 19-0 win. With that victory, the Falcons brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.

Skyview's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5. As for Great Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-5.
