Basketball Recap: Overlea Comes Up Short

Overlea was the 77-71 winner over New Town when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Overlea Falcons took a 65-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of New Town on Wednesday. The matchup marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Overlea fell to 21-1. As for New Town, the win was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-1.

Looking ahead, Overlea will square off against Randallstown at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. New Town does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
