It was a proper cat-fight when D'Evelyn challenged Littleton on Monday. The Jaguars walked away with a 3-1 win over the Lions. This was a revenge game for the Jaguars: when they faced off against the Lions back in September, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

The victory didn't come easy: Littleton scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18, 22-25, 25-20.

Reece Benton paced D'Evelyn's offense, picking up 13 kills. Benton got some help from Annika Diercks and her 36 assists. Diercks was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

The win made it two in a row for D'Evelyn and bumps their season record up to 8-13. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 3-17 Pomona and 10-11 Littleton. As for Littleton, they dropped their record down to 10-11 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. D'Evelyn will square off against rival Wheat Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Littleton is set to face off against their familiar foe Pomona at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
