Volleyball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Pleasure Ridge Park Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss back in August.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9-1. As for Pleasure Ridge Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Apollo on the 3rd. As for Pleasure Ridge Park, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Moore on the 2nd.
