Fenton won the last time they faced Holly and things went their way  on Thursday too. The Tigers put the hurt on the Bronchos with a sharp  17-2 victory. Considering the Tigers have won 14 matches by more than five  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Abby Golen made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  pitched four innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits. Golen was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-5 with two  runs, two  doubles,  and one  RBI. That's the most  doubles  she has posted  over her last ten  contests.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Ally Turkowski, who  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with one  home run, three  runs,  and one  stolen base. Another player making a difference was  Marlee Topij, who  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 Fenton  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .641. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  OBP total in three consecutive  games.
Fenton is  on a roll lately: they've  won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3-1 record  this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.4 runs. As for Holly, their loss was  their third straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 4-9.
 Looking ahead, Fenton will take on Flushing at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. The Tigers are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on  a  seven-game losing streak. As for Holly, they will be playing at home against Swartz Creek  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday.
