Basketball Recap: Half Moon Bay Takes a Loss

Half Moon Bay was the 65-63 winner over Sacred Heart Prep when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars took a hard 59-45 fall against the Gators on Tuesday.

Alex Osterloh had an outrageously good game for Sacred Heart Prep as he dropped a double-double with 27 points and 11 boards. Those 27 points gave Osterloh a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Oliver Marcin, who posted four points and ten rebounds.

Half Moon Bay now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Sacred Heart Prep, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Half Moon Bay has already played their next contest, a 75-51 loss against Priory on the 11th. As for Sacred Heart Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 66-50 defeat against Valley Christian on the 11th.
