Football Recap: Bristol Central Comes Up Short at Home Against Middletown

Bristol Central unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 21-10 to the Middletown Blue Dragons on Thursday. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Dragons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

The victory got Middletown back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bristol Central will take on Newington at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Middletown, they will head out to challenge Thames River co-op [Norwich RVT/Grasso RVT/St. Bernard] at 6:00 p.m. on the 12th.
