The Wauconda Bulldogs will head out on the road to challenge the Dundee-Crown Chargers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Wauconda is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

Wauconda is headed into Saturday's match hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Grayslake Central on Tuesday.

Brandon Palestina and Mario Torres scored both of Wauconda's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

Meanwhile, Dundee-Crown entered their tilt with Cary-Grove on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Their defense stepped up to hand the Trojans a 2-0 shutout. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Dundee-Crown were the better team in the second half.

Dundee-Crown's record is now 10-4-3. As for Wauconda, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3-1.
