Basketball Recap: Concordia Prep Comes Up Short

Concordia Prep played a tough matchup on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the City College Black Knights 87-57. The Saints were down 66-43 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Despite the loss, Concordia Prep still got an impressive performance from Presley Prettyman, who went 7 of 13 en route to 19 points. The dominant performance gave Prettyman a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Robinson, who posted ten points.

Concordia Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for City College, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3.

Concordia Prep will welcome Severn School at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Severn School will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Concordia Prep surely won't give up without a fight. City College has already played their next game (against Benjamin Franklin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
